WHAT ARE YOUR OPENING HOURS?
We don't have strict opening hours or days. You can inquire about any date and time you like. we let you know what is possible and what isn't! Late afternoon rides are beautiful and even full moon adventures are available.
WHERE ARE YOU LOCATED
Horses @ Pukatea Hill is in North Taranaki, New Zealand. We are just under an hour from New Plymouth. Turn off State Highway 3 onto Okau Road which is well sign posted as the road to Taumarunui and Mt Damper Falls.
We are 13 Km's along Okau Road from State Highway 3.I send a map and directions with all booking emails.
WHAT DO I NEED TO BRING?
Riding in long pants that aren't too tight is much more sensible and safer than shorts!
Wear or bring sensible closed in shoes. Sneakers are ok as we provide stirrup toe stoppers. Bring snacks and a water bottle .Sunscreen is an excellent idea! Lots of photo opportunities so bring your phone or camera. There is no cell phone reception but we do have wifi at home base and a landline.
HOW DO I PAY FOR MY EXPERIENCE?
We do not currently have eft-pos facilities so payment is by cash or online baking payment either before you come or using our wifi.
